Ingredients

  • 1 Scoop Protein Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder/Soda
  • 1 Serving Candrel Sweetener
  • 15g Peanut Butter
  • 25-50 ml Alpro Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • ΒΌ tsp Cocoa Powder
  • 15g Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Large Egg

Method

1) Mix all dry ingredients in mug till no lumps remain

2) Add egg white and mix, your mixture will go very thick, at this point add a dash of almond milk to loosen things up a bit, then add in the egg yolk. You want your mixture to be like batter, smooth, slow and thick, but pourable

3) add 15g of chocolate chips into mug and mix through (Top Tip, save some for the top of the batter before adding to microwave)

4) Add a flat tablespoon of peanut butter into the middle of the mug

5) Microwave for around 30 seconds to 1 minute on high (give or take some time depending on your microwave). Keep an eye on it – if it starts to bubble over the top, stop microwaving and press the batter back into mug with a fork, then continue microwaving.

6) When finished, the cake should be cooked but still very moist. Now smother it in Sugar-Free Syrup.Note* You will likely mess up your first go at this mug cake, it's very easy to over cook, each microwave is different, and you will learn what works for you
