This meal prep recipe goes really well in burger buns with a bit of <a href="https://www.rival.fitness/recipes/coleslaw">coleslaw</a> and maybe some hot sauce if that is your thing. Perfect for meal prep and a hands off recipe, as its all cooked in a slow cooker!

Ingredients

  • 1.5kg Raw Chicken Breast
  • 200g BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Generous pinch Salt & Pepper
  • ½ White Onion
  • ½ Red Onion
  • 15g Brown Sugar

Method

Ideally if you have time, marinade your chicken for 3-4 hours prior, or overnight.

1) Coat your crockpot/slow cooker with 1 calorie cooking spray and add all ingredients and mix well.

2) Turn on your crockpot/slow cooker and cook for 3-4 hours on high OR 6-7 hours on low heat.

3) Once cooked remove and use two forks to pull apart, add back into the pot and mix with the sauce.

4) This will store for 3-4 days in the fridge or can also be frozen for longer storage.
